At 2F4P we use modern, up-to-date technology to help quickly assess and diagnose injuries & illnesses in your pet.
Radiographs (x-rays) are one of the most commonly used diagnostic tools in medicine.
Our modern digital x-ray processor allows us to take multiple images quickly with minimal processing delay – meaning you get your answers quicker.
Ultrasound is a painless, safe, non-invasive procedure that produces a real-time moving image of your pet’s organs – allowing your vet to examine objects that cannot be detected by x-rays alone.
Our system also incorporates a Doppler System allowing us to assess heart function and blood flow. This means that we can more thoroughly assess organs such as the liver, kidneys, bladder, intestines, uterus and gall bladder – all of which, ultimately means we are able to provide a more thorough diagnosis.
As well vastly improving the quality & standard of dental care for pets, a digital dental x-ray can be useful in other ways.
For example, it can be used to take very high resolution images of small animals ie hamsters, small birds, reptiles or detailed radiographs of small bones in, say a cat’s foot.
Often the x-rays taken with standard x-ray equipment for smaller subjects are unable to provide the amount of details needed
